Rental conditions

The indications below are intended to specify the framework of the seasonal rental of the Gite de la Pique (furnished house located in Cazeaux Layrisse – Haute Garonne), excluding any commercial or professional activity.

Length of stay

  • The rental is for a period of one week, renewable for as long as the tenant wishes.
  • The tenant may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises at the end of the rental period.

Accommodation capacity

  • The house is designed for a maximum of 8 people.

Price and terms of payment

  • The total rental price is fixed at 790 EUROS / week.
  • A 50% deposit is required on booking, with the balance due 15 days before arrival.
  • A security deposit of EUR 750 is required on arrival, which is returned within 8 days of departure, less any damage observed by the concierge service or the owner.

Cancellation

  • In the event of cancellation by the tenant:
    • More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of deposit.
    • Less than 30 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • In the event of cancellation by the owner, the full amount paid will be refunded.

Arrival and departure

  • Arrival: from 2pm on Saturday.
  • Departure: before 10am on Saturdays.
  • Any arrival or departure outside these times must be agreed in advance.

Use of the premises

  • The tenant undertakes to respect the peace and quiet of the neighbours, to maintain the premises and to keep the house clean.
  • Pets are not allowed/subject to conditions.
  • Non-smoking accommodation.

Inventory of fixtures

  • An inventory of fixtures and fittings will be drawn up on arrival and departure.
  • Any anomaly or damage must be reported immediately.

Insurance

  • The tenant undertakes to be covered by civil liability insurance.
  • The owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the tenant’s property.

Weather conditions and access

  • As the house is located in a mountain area, the tenant agrees to take all necessary precautions to access the premises (snow tyres, chains, etc.).
  • The owner cannot be held responsible if access is not possible due to extreme weather conditions.
